About NicNacs Trading

NicNacs Trading Co. Ltd. is the largest Guyanese-owned company in China, with seventeen full-time employees and six part-time student interns supporting sourcing and trading work for Guyana and the Caribbean.

Founded in 2015 as Yiwu Cheng Qing-Lester Trading Company and renamed in 2018, NicNacs helps customers source commercial imports from China, from building materials and machinery to agricultural equipment, packaging, and medical supplies. Operations are anchored in Hangzhou, a Shenzhen warehouse, and Georgetown, Guyana.

Who you are working with

Lester built NicNacs in China with Guyanese customers in mind.

Dr. Lester Paul is a Guyanese entrepreneur who built NicNacs on the ground in China, not as a remote supplier directory but as an operating company with people, offices, warehouse support, and direct customer communication.

That matters for Caribbean buyers who need someone to understand both sides of the transaction: China-based suppliers and the realities of buying, shipping, and receiving goods back home. NicNacs is built around that bridge.

Under Lester's leadership, NicNacs has handled commercial sourcing, sea freight, rush air freight, and larger project procurement. Its largest project to date was the procurement, shipment, and assembly of the NARIE Agro-Processing plant at Mon Repos, Guyana, and the company has also worked as a third-party supplier for hospitals and clinics in the Caribbean.

NicNacs is also investing in digital tools such as GUYMART and the planned GtMassive app to help Guyanese customers find products, connect with local stores, and support better stock planning over time. The company also has web and app development capability for businesses that need digital support around their products or services.
